All other components are built around our frames and with over 25 years’ experience producing structurally sound 100% timber frames, we can confidently offer a 10 year guarantee.
2. Webbing
The seating and back foundation is a vital component of any lounge and to guarantee the best we source our webbing from Intes Industries in Italy, industry leaders with over 50 years’ experience in the area of technological research and development, producing the best elastic component that can be found on the market.
Using natural vulcanized rubber threads made of 90% of natural latex In order to avoid premature deterioration of the rubber’s coating, INTES covers all its rubber with premium yarn, ensuring the best elastic performance. All our webbing is covered with a 10 year guarantee.
3. Foam
With a choice of soft, medium or firm comfort levels, Sapphirewood have a long trusted relationship with Dunlop, Australia’s largest and unrivalled supplier of quality seat foams. Consistency of feel and comfort are guaranteed for 10 years, and when combined with the Intes webbing base, the perfect seat comfort and strength is achieved.
- Fabric
Unlike many inferior fabric coverings found on unregulated and inferior imports, all Sapphirewood’s fabrics are tested to pass Australian standards of abrasion, seam slippage, pilling resistance and colour fastness. The majority of fabrics have achieved heavy commercial use status, ensuring durability and peace of mind that your lounge will maintain its appearance for years to come.
